On December 14, 2011, ASC's staff and teachers attended a dinner hosted by the Mayor's Office of New Bostonians. The purpose of this event was to recognize outstanding members of Boston's immigrant community, as well as native Bostonians who have made great strides to improve the lives of immigrants in their own communities.
